Memorial Trees and Benches

We are in agreement for the bench memorial with the following conditions: Homeowner would pay for the cost of the bench and memorial plaque; HOA will pay for installation. Must be the same style of bench as currently installed at playground and green space area.

Tree memorial — HOA will select location for the tree. Homeowner must write and submit a proposal for the tree and pay for the tree. Mark Burtus wants to be the first to purchase a tree memorial. We should also try to make the tree memorial area compliment the pollinator gardens and maybe the disc golf areas.

Pool concrete and furniture

Greg would like to hire some of the youths in the community to do odd jobs around the pavilion and through the community such as pick up trash, empty trash cans, keep green area litter free, etc.

Brian will take lead on pool concrete scheduling contractor out for quote and the work around the area including any needed landscaping. We must fill-in the area where we have a significant gap. This is the area cited by the health department.

Reshecia will take lead on ordering replacement chairs/loungers for pool area. Checking websites like eBay and Temu.

Pool lights (discuss next meeting)

Fees by Omni

Where are we with violations?

We need from Jamie a list of current violations. Ask Jamie to send a reminder letter/email out to all homeowners that now is the time to come into compliance. We will be scheduling a day to drive through for assessments. We also need to include driveway sealing as part of this as maintenance.

Additional Items

Community Guidelines

We need to set or revisit guidelines regarding portable hoops (if not allowed, they need to be removed), trash can screens, playground sets and placement; sets should not be seen from the street. Should be behind the home and storm doors. We need to come up with specs we are in agreement with and communicate to community. That would help to expedite the process. Anything beyond those specific guidelines, the homeowner would need to go through the full approval process.

For example: IF we agree on specs such as must be single or double pane. Must match the color of the front door or trim of the home that would be an automatic approval when the HO submits their modification application.

Website

Reshecia reached out to Emily but no update yet. At this point we need to hire a contractor to complete this project. It has been a year and too long to complete.

Future Discussion

  1. Community funded activities - Greg proposed the HOA contributing $500 to each event

  2. Set budget

  3. Survey community - pet stations satisfaction survey

  4. Community meeting for winter/spring via zoom

  5. Pool opening party
