Neighborhood & HOA
Deed Restrictions – These are the official, governing rules of our community that all homeowners should know. In addition to these, we have established standards for the following items:
Design Review Board Info – Certain changes and improvements to your property must be submitted to the Design Review Board for review/approval. Individual forms can be found in the OMNI Anywhere portal. To help you get started, please review the following documents:
OMNI Anywhere App – Access your Omni account on the go with the Omni app. Download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
OMNI Anywhere Portal – Allows you to pay your HOA fees online, access important community documents, and submit items to the design review board.
Pool, Pavilion and Playground Rules – To keep The Farms a safe place to live and play, our HOA Board has created a set of rules that all residents are expected to follow when using neighborhood amenities.
Utilities
Cable & Internet – Residents can choose from one of the following service providers: AT&T, Spectrum or WOW!
Gas & Electric – The Energy Cooperative
Trash & Recycling – Rumpke
Local Government, Schools & Community
Jefferson Township Website – Blacklick is served by Jefferson Township. Explore the area and access local resources on the township’s website.
Columbus Metropolitan Library – The Farms is within easy driving distance of the Gahanna and New Albany branch locations.
Franklin County Auditor – If you need information on your property value or property taxes, check in with the county auditor. This is also where you’ll go to get a dog license for the year.
Gahanna School District – The neighborhood falls within the Gahanna School District. Go Lions! Visit the district’s website to learn more about our local schools and access the district calendar.
Gahanna “IN THE KNOW” Facebook group – This is a good group to join if you’re looking to connect with Gahanna residents and stay up to date with the latest news from the area.
Emergency & Law Enforcement
Franklin County Sheriff – Provides law enforcement services to Jefferson Township. Our neighborhood watch was created in partnership with the sheriff’s office.
Jefferson Township Fire Department – Provides fire, rescue, and public safety services. A new station is in progress right down the street.
Mount Carmel New Albany Emergency Room – The closest ER to the neighborhood.
Leisure & Entertainment
Columbus Metro Parks – With more than 28,900 acres of land and water to explore and 230 miles of trails to traverse, there’s plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the wonder and majesty of nature in Columbus Metro Parks.
Easton Town Center – A premier shopping, dining, and entertainment destination with open-air town squares, fountains, and parks.
Jefferson Township Parks – The township operates five community parks. The closest of these is Jefferson Community Park, which is just down the street from the neighborhood.
Lynd Fruit Farm – A long-standing, family-owned farm located a short distance away in Pataskala, Ohio. Lynd is best known for their U-pick apples, pumpkins and berries, as well as their large farmer’s market and seasonal family fun activities.
